PENCIL PORTRAIT CLASS
Fridays, October 6th & October 13th
Hours 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
During this 2 day class, you will complete a pencil portrait and become familiar with the value/drawing technique of shading. Students will learn the difference between a simple portrait and a composition. Students are to bring a photograph that they want to create their portrait from.
The cost of the class is $40 (pay when you register). Please bring a set of drawing pencils (or at least a #2 and a #5), a kneaded eraser, small pencil sharpener and decent drawing paper approximately 12" x 18".
This class will be held in the Pence Building in the Drawing studio (middle room, upstairs).
PENCIL PORTRAIT CLASS October 6th & 13th
The instructor for this class is Stephen Haselroth. Stephen is an accomplished, local artist who shared his skills and appreciation of art with the young people of Greene County, TN. Upon retiring from teaching, Stephen was given the honor of Cum Laude with the Tennessee Arts Academy Alumni Association. Stephen continues to share his appreciation of art and has participated in art exhibits, including locally at Tusculum University.
