October 19th-23rd
5pm-8pm every day.
I will be teaching the construction of a basic medieval style dress using a commercial pattern, including adjusting the pattern to a student's measurements, constructing a mock up, and inserting either rings or grommets for lacing. Students can choose one of three closures - zipper, corset back, or lace up sides.
Students will need to bring:
6.5 - 7 yards of fabric of your choice. Knits work well for this, but any apparel type fabric should be fine
About 2 yards of cotton or muslin for mock up
Thread to match fabric
Zipper, grommets, or D rings, depending on closure choice
Any trims or appliques they want to use for decoration (optional)
