Hand embroidery on wool felt. We will cut basic shapes from wool felt and embroidery onto the wool background. Patterns to create fun animals will be provided. We will focus on 6-8 stitches that are commonly used.
 
Materials List Brought By Students
Hand sewing supplies (small scissors, embroidery needles, pins, sewing thread, DMC floss or Perle cotton embroidery thread, 6"x9" wool background fabric, small pieces of felted wool (animal and nature colors, browns, blacks, greens, whites, cream), small portable light, 6"x9" piece of cotton batting, 8"x10" cotton for backing
