About the class

Learn how to make a simple, yet effective salve using jewelweed - an herb with powerful anti-itch properties that you might be suprised to find growing close to your home!  Great to keep in your pocket when walking through the woods for poison ivy, stings and other external skin irritations.  The class will be held in the President's house kitchen.  This is a lovely home that dates back to 1842 that we will tour after class if time allows.
