Your instructor is Chelsea Shepard. Chelsea has been crocheting for over 26 years. She learned the skill from her mother, who learned it from her father. She has recently turned her talent into a small business, specializing in chrochet animals.

About the class
Great beginner class for anyone who has wanted to learn this technique but didn't know where to begin. In this class, students will learn the basic steps including how to hold the hook and count rows. Students will begin the process of creating a scarf that they can take home and finish. Students need to bring the following to class: One skein of crochet yarn (not thick), One 5mm size crochet hook, one pack of stitch markers, a pair of scissors and a tapestry needle. Supplies can be purchased at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Walmart or Joann's.
